Harvest Rice Dish (Japanese Gomoku Gohan Recipe)
Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: 1hr
Number of servings: 4
Ingredients:
2 cups of pre-washed rice
2 salmon fillets
200g (7oz.) sweet potato
50g (1.7oz.) carrot
40g (1.4oz.) Edamame (removed from the pods)
100g (3.5oz.) Shimeji mushrooms
Seasonings
* 1 cube consommé
* 2 tbsp. Sake
* 2 tbsp. Mirin (sweet Sake) or 2 tsp. sugar is ok
* 1/2 tbsp. soy sauce

Directions:
1. Dice sweet potato and carrot. Remove edamame from the pods. Break Shimeji mushrooms into small pieces.
2. Wash rice if needed. If you are using pre-washed rice (Musenmai) you don't have to wash it. Place the rice in a pot and add water to the level indicated in the pot. Add seasonings and mix, then place sweet potatoes, carrots, edamame, Shimeji mushrooms, and salmon, and cook in normal mode.
3. Once the rice is cooked, let it steam for 10 minutes without opening the lid. Break salmon into small pieces, mix everything together. Serve in a bowl, sprinkle with Gomashio sesame and salt.
