"surface dry" is something I heard my facialists would describe my skin, where you experience dryness, dehydration, and texture on the outer surface, while underneath is still oily. So when you look at my skin, it's got this weird combination of both. This can be a factor if dry environments, over-cleansing, using harsh ingredients for your skin type, or all of the above. One of the best ways to treat that is mild exfoliation + moisturizing ingredients. My choice to instantly inject glow back into my skin is PDRN (but not the fish kind ty 🐟).
